Description
VINEYARDS
Like much of South Australia, the 2015 growing season in Padthaway saw very little rain after July. However, due to these drier conditions, disease pressure was very low and rapid ripening occurred, with the start of vintage one of the earliest seen in many years. Yields were generally low, with average or below average crops experienced throughout the region, however this had the benefit of ensuring fruit quality was excellent. The wines produced from this vintage show outstanding flavour and expressive regional character, and have been hailed as being some of the best seen in recent memory.
