What it tastes like
Elegant and balanced taste with dill and coriander as the main forces, but with fine contributions from star anise, citrus, and caramel. Unlike most aquavits, Aalborg Jubileum’s Akvavit is completely caraway-free.
How to use it
Best enjoyed chilled but can also be enjoyed at room temperature. Goes well with fish, pork, curry dishes, and food from Asian cuisine.
Story
Aalborg Akvavit is the name of the classic Danish aquavit – the one that Danes love and put on the table again and again. And not without reason: Aalborg Akvavit represents more than 160 years of experience in the art of making spirits. Aalborg Jubileum was launched in 1946, 100 years after the opening of the factory in Aalborg and as a tribute to Taffel Akvavit.
