A 12 Year Old blended malt, this was matured in sherry casks, which has brought a lovely sweetness to counteract the peat. Poit Dhubh is Gaelic for “Black Pot”, or Illicit Still..

Poit Dhubh 12 Year Old is elegant and smooth, with a soft sweetness balanced by a subtle peatiness. This unchilfiltered blended malt has a long, smooth and smoky finish.

Poit Dhubh 12 year old won the GOLD medal at the 2016 International Wine & Sprit Competition and a SILVER medal at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Awards.

Previous wins include GOLD medal in the 2014 International Wine & Spirit Competition and the SILVER medal in 2010, 2008 & 2006. (Best in Class in 2010) (Blended Malt Scotch Whisky category).
