Description
ITALY. German airline Lufthansa has listed the Alexander grappa brand from Italian supplier Distilleria Bottega in its inflight sales catalogue.
The carrier has selected the Alexander Sky 20cl bottle, the original blown glass bottle designed specially for the inflight sales market.
“Alexander Sky” is a blown-glass bottle that reproduces the shape of an airplane on the inside. It contains 200ml of Prosecco grappa. The distillate is described as aromatic and smooth with scents of fresh fruit.
The blown glass, in the great Venetian tradition, is designed to emphasise the transparency of grappa and its pureness. The Alexander collection counts more than 30 different artistic bottles. Some of them have been exhibited in prestigious contemporary art collections in Italy and abroad.
Grappa is an Italian spirit made from grape skins. It is the only distillate that shares the same origin as wine.
